I will eventually get back to my Project 52 but am having so much fun with Nick and Shannon’s Scavenger hunt it’s taking precedence at the moment.
As many of you will know I’m a Zimbabwean and proud of my homeland but the simple economics mean that I have now lived in the UK for many years only getting a chance to return to the land of my birth every couple of years.
That being said I do what I can to keep up the connection, I wear my Courtney Boots daily and carry this National Geographic camera bag proudly displaying the Zimbabwean flag pretty much everywhere.
Please excuse the rather poor Instagram shot on this occasion, it’s not all about the quality of the photography but the journey or at least that’s my excuse.
While we’re on the subject of Zimbabwe I could not have been a happier boy than when our tiny little nation stuffed the South African’s in the cricket yesterday, sorry Mrs BC but I can’t help but gloat.

Nice! And now you can be doubly proud – since Zim won SA 3-0 in a cricket series… Ouch! I hang my head in shame… 🙂
that’s what happens when you underestimate the minnows, we only won 2-1 though, still a win is a win……
It’s good that you are proud of your country. Cool bag!
thank you Bassas, I’m sure you feel the same way about your homeland of Georgia
I do!
glad to hear it.
