another week seems to have flown on by and once again I’m sharing with you a photo from my project 52.
This weeks suggested theme was “in the workplace” and not wanting to take any clichéd shots of my desk and work station I tried to think outside of the box, as many of you know I work for a large car dealer group so could easily of taken shots of the showroom or the mechanics and their tools in the back but I didn’t really want to have to go through the explanations.
Instead the shot I have chosen was taken again using my little Canon IXUS 107 in the dumping ground above our parts department. I really like the mixture of textures and tones achieved.
What do you guys think?
Next Week the suggested theme is depth of field so I’m going to have to put my thinking cap on.
Very interesting picture. Good use of light and dark. Well done.
Great shot! The tires look great in black and white. Lots of matt and shiny surfaces.
Thank you so much Bassas, do you like tyres, my very stupid dog loves sniffing tyres but I would imagine that is beneath someone of your obvious intelligence.
Even tall person likes the smell of tires and oil. In fact anything to do with garages and workshops, probably because it reminds him of his father’s workshop.
That place is *way* too neat !
You should see the rest of the building every individual nut and bolt in its own box and accounted for. Outside of the server room and my desk this is as messy as a German car dealership gets.
